Motorola V3i RAZR Mobile Phone Review
The Motorola V3i RAZR takes the basic style and cutting edge features of the standard V3, and adds a few tweaks to upgrade the phone and bring it in line with the expectations of today's discerning consumer. Adding more memory, a better camera, and a faster user interface to the V3 are all welcome changes, but thankfully, the actual shape and great looks of the phone have not been changed in the slightest, meaning that the V3i RAZR takes all that is great about its predecessor, and brings it right up to date.
The Motorola V3 was the most popular mobile phone of all time, and is still in production, although it has now become an entry level model rather than the cutting edge executive phone that it was at its inception, and the V3i has taken over some of the mantle of its illustrious predecessor.
The upgrades to the phone that justify the "I" tag include a new camera with a 1.3 mega pixel image size, and an upgraded internal memory to allow you to store more photographs and music.
On the Motorola V3i RAZR, you can use iTunes to store and order your digital music, and thanks to the large internal memory, there is enough space to store around 50-100 songs depending on the format that you use.
The built in digital camera is easy to use, and features an intuitive interface that makes taking photos and videos really simple, and although many other phones have a better camera built into them, the ease of use with the V3 means that you can still get very good results when you use it.
The internet access available with the V3i uses WAP technology, so is somewhat slower than many of its rivals, although thankfully with its java compatibility, you can enjoy playing a range of simple downloadable games that are widely available.
The classic sharp lines of the Motorola RAZR family are what make this phone so special and enduringly popular. One of the thinnest models on the market, it fits easily into any pocket or handbag, and is easy to use and live with. Simple enough that it will rarely fail you, and robust enough to still look great after 12 months, the original RAZR was the phone that rejuvenated the market in stylish designer phones, and its latest iteration has simply refined and updated the idea.
